By AccessWDUN Staff

TIGER — Rabun County exploded for 28 first quarter points en route to a 49-7 win over White County Friday night.

Bailey Fisher was the catalyst with throwing for 370 yards and six touchdowns and running for another score to account for all seven of the Wildcats touchdowns.

Fisher had more touchdown passes than White County had completions (5) in the game.

The Wildcats (2-0) opened the game with a quick drive capped by a 32-yard pass from Fisher to Cole Keener. They forced a White County punt and then three plays later Fisher connected with Braxton Hicks on a 71-yard bomb for a 14-0 lead less than seven minutes into the game.

The Warriors would have to punt again and then Rabun County blew it open. The Wildcats would score on consecutive plays just 16 seconds apart as Fisher capped a 9-play drive with a 3-yard run and after White County fumbled on its first play on the ensuing possession, Fisher and Noah Cannon connected on  27-yard touchdown pass for a 28-0 lead with 11 seconds left in the first quarter.

Fisher and Keener hooked up again in the second quarter on a 65-yard touchdown pass to take a 35-0 lead into halftime. In the third quarter Fisher and Holden Bleckley connected twice on touchdown passes of 6- and 11-yards to push the lead to 49-0.

Clark Sevaughn broke the drought for the Warriors (0-3) scoring on a 2-yard run with just over three minutes left in the game.

Rabun County piled up 471 yards of offense. White County had 267 yards offense, 189 on the ground, paced by Kaleb Crane with 92 yards rushing.

The Wildcats are off next week before traveling to West Hall in their final non-region game of the season.

White County will play host to arch-rival North Hall next week.
