Gainesville Civil Air Patrol Cadet Senior Airman Megan Robertson was recently awarded the Silver Outstanding Cadet Medal By the Daughters of the American Revolution.
The medal is awarded to one cadet each year for outstanding leadership, honor, service, courage and patriotism.
It was presented at a recent ceremony at the National Guard Armory in Gainesville.
