By AccessWDUN staff
The Georgia Court of Appeals will hold its September 14 session in the Braselton Municipal Courtroom as part of the town’s centennial celebration.

Judges  John J. Ellington*, Elizabeth L. Branch* and Amanda H. Mercier*, a three-judge panel, will hear three appellate cases.  The court’s docket was selected by its clerk.  The court session is
open to the public beginning at 9:15.  The courtroom is in the town’s historic downtown at 5040 Highway 53 adjacent to the Town Hall.

The cases on the calendar are:

Case A16A1812 is One Buckhead Loop Condominium Association, Inc. v. Regent Tower Holdings, LLC.
Case A16A1761 is Scott Richard Overman v. The State of Georgia
Case A16A1722 Barko Response Team v. Phillip & Elaine Sudduth

“The Court of Appeals selected two locations outside Atlanta this year and accepted our invitation to hold a session here to help us celebrate the town’s centennial,” says Braselton
Mayor Bill Orr.  “We are honored to host them and to allow our citizens to witness the court in action.”

The Court will convene at 9:30 and recess at 12:30.  Seating in the municipal courtroom is limited so citizens are invited to hear one case (about one hour) and allow for others to
enter the courtroom.
