Mattie's Call issued for man with dementia last seen in Suwanee

A Mattie's Call has been issued for a man who has dementia, and was last spotted in Suwanee.

James Wiggins, 78, was last seen on I-85 north on Aug. 9 when he was following a friend, Gwinnett county Police said in a news release; that friend pulled off to the BP gas station in Suwanee to report his friend missing.

Wiggins was reportedly driving a 1995 Ford Econoline with Florida Tag HBJZ30.

He was last seen wearing black dungarees, a long sleeve plaid shirt and a gold watch in his front pocket attached to a chain; he's described as a white male, 5'10", 115 pounds with blue eyes and thinning brown hair.

He was reported missing at 1:00 p.m. Thursday.

Anyone who sees Wiggins should call 911.
