Authorities said a body found Monday at the Regal Apartments in Winder is that of a missing man.
Steven Lloyd Sheriff, 49, of Winder went missing July 28 from the nearby Holly Hills apartment, according to a press release from the Winder Police Department, and was not heard from since that day.
His body was discovered Monday in an area "not visible to the general public" around 11:40 a.m. along with photo identifications and several personal items.
Foul play is not suspected at this time.
The apartment complex where the body was located is off McNeal Road.
