Two people died in a Tuesday morning crash in Barrow County, officials confirmed.
The wreck happened at approximately 9:00 a.m. on Ga. 211 between Will Maynard Road and Mulberry Road, according to an email from Barrow County Sheriff's Cpt. Ryan Sears.
Neither driver's identity has been released.
One car was headed northbound, swerved off the roadway to the right, then over-corrected and crossed the center line, striking a car head-on that was headed southbound.
The driver of the southbound car died at the scene, while the other driver was later pronounced dead at Barrow Regional Medical Center.
