ATHENS — North Hall standout Bartley Forrester won the Athens Junior Classic golf tournament after shooting an 8-under 136 total for the two-day event at the Georgia Club.
Forrester held off Dunwoody's Nick Paschetto, who finished at 1-under after shooting a 5-under 67 on Thursday.
Forrester carded a blistering 7-under 65 on Wednesday in the first round, including three straight birdies on Nos. 12, 13, and 14 as part of going 6-under par on the back nine.
Davis Weaver of Flowery Branch took third with a 2-over 146. Fellow North Hall golfer Michael Kallab finished tied for 10th after shooting a 9-over 153.
Forrester made a name for himself during the 2016 prep season beating Gainesville and now University of Georgia phemom Spencer Ralston in a head-to-head duel to win the Hall County Championship.
