National retailer Home Goods to open later this month in Gainesville

Another national retailer will open up shop along the busy Dawsonville Highway commercial corridor later this month.
 
HomeGoods, which sells off-price home decor, will open a new store in Gainesville on Sunday, June 26 at 8 a.m., according to a press statement from company officials. The 20,000 square-foot store is located in North Lake Square at Dawsonville Highway near Ahaluna Drive.
 
The new Gainesville location will be the 16th store in the Atlanta market.

“Our shopping experience is unlike any other retailer; our amazing values, designer brands and unique assortment make HomeGoods an exciting destination for shoppers,”  said John Ricciuti, President of HomeGoods in the press release. " We are thrilled to provide Gainesville shoppers with this exhilarating shopping experience.”

The Gainesville store is expected to fill approximately 65 full and part-time positions.

Regular store hours are Monday through Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Special Grand Opening Day hours will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.  

HomeGoods operates more than 500 stores across the country and is a division of The TJX Companies, Inc.  The TJX Companies, Inc, as of October 31,2015, operated nearly 3,600 stores including T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods and Sierra Trading Post stores.
