Bavarianfest in Helen will honor military, veterans Saturday night

HELEN — The annual Bavarianfest, sponsored by the Helen Chamber of Commerce, will pay tribute to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and also honor those who are serving or have served.
The event will be held from 6-11 p.m. Saturday, May 28, at the Festhalle in Helen and will feature a live German band, dancing and a festive Bavarian atmosphere.
Import and domestic beers and wines, wursts on a bun, hotdogs, pretzels and snacks will be available for purchase.
Active and retired military personnel and veterans receive free admission.
Admission for all other adults is $7.
