SENOIA, Ga. - Clint ‘Cat Daddy’ Smith led every lap Saturday night to claim his second Super Late Model feature victory of the season at Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia.
The veteran driver also went flag to flag in the Limited Late Model feature to win his fourth of the year in that division.
Smith started his dominating performance by jumping out to the lead over fast qualifier and pole sitter Tod Darda in the Super Late Model feature. He would go on to take the win, with Austin Horton in second, Joe Armistead, Jr. in third, Ashton Wingerin fourth and Darda in fifth.
Smith went flag to flag in the Limited Late Model feature, beating out Glenn Morris, who finished in second. Cory Hillman finished in third, with Bailey Williams in fourth and Jayce Southwell in fifth.
In the first of two Hobby Stock features, Randy Cornwell worked to the inside of Joe Hillman on lap six and went on to take the victory. Hillman finished in second, with Curtis Turner third, Chris Steele fourth and Ben Wells in fifth.
In the second Hobby Stock feature, Cornwell grabbing the lead at the drop of the green, flag, and went on to sweep the night. Hillman, Turner, H.B. Duke and Dustin Smith rounded out the top five.
Trey Wood was the initial leader in the Crate Late Model feature, but veteran Bubba Pollard used an early race restart to slip past. Once in the lead, Pollard drove away to take the victory. Wood finished in second, with Chase Edge in third, Will Herrington in fourth and Cord Dodgen in fifth.
Jody Knowles ran side-by-side with Roger Arnett to open the racing action in the B Cadet feature. Knowles would secure the top spot a few laps later. A number of cautions kept the field from completing all 15 laps, as the race was halted at lap 13 after yet another yellow flag. Knowles was declared the winner, with Arnett second, Josh Copeland third, Billy Stevenson fourth and Bobby Arnold in fifth.
Dustin Ogletree held off all challenges from Mike Younginer to take the victory in the Mini Stock feature. Younginer finished in second, with Grant Roberts in third, Dustin Bales in fourth and Harold Leath in fifth.
Tim Harmon took the win in the Bomber feature, with Michael Couch in second, James Swanger in third, Brandon McDaniel in fourth and Jim Jackson in fifth.
Senoia Raceway is back in action on Saturday, May 18, featuring action in the Super Late Models, Limited Late Models, Crate Late Models, B Cadets, Hobby Stock, Bombers and Mini Stock.
