The Hall County Sheriff’s Department is on the lookout for an armed robbery suspect.
According to Deputy Nicole Bailes, the robbery occurred at the Dollar General on Atlanta Highway Saturday afternoon. A white male, believed to be in his 20s, entered the business with a gun and demanded the clerk give him cash. The suspect the ordered employees and customers to the back of the store and then fled.
Bailes said it’s not known if the suspect fled on foot or in a vehicle. No one was injured, and it is undetermined how much money he made off with.
He’s described as tall and slender, with red hair. He was wearing a black sweatshirt and black shorts. The suspect was also wearing a beach type hat, which he discarded when he left the business.
