Hall County Fire Services announces the promotion of Dennis Tipton to the rank of Brigade Commander.
Tipton began his career with the department in 1988 as a firefighter. Since then, he has served as an apparatus operator, Lieutenant, Captain, and Battalion Chief.
During a ceremony last week, he was presented with his badge and helmet by Chief Jeff Hood. Tipton assumed his new duties today.
