Three arrested on meth-related charges following Lumpkin County investigation

3 people were arrested in Lumpkin County last Friday on several drug-related charges. 

The Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office and the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office served an arrest warrant on Erin Bouverette, 30, at her residence on Stephens Street in Dahlonega. A subsequent search of the residence netted approximatly 2 grams of suspected methamphetamine, according to a press release from the ARDEO.

Eric Hample, 47, and Clyde Adams, 53, were also at the residence when the search was carried out. Lumpkin County officers then searched Adams' residence on Rens Way in Dahlonega. Approximatly 32 grams of suspected methamphetamine were located in the residence.

The release said the drugs confiscated had a total street value of roughly $3,740.

Bouverette and Hample have been charged with possession of methamphetamine while Adams faces a charge of trafficking methamphetamine. All three were transported to the Lumpkin County Detention Center without incident. 

The Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office is a multi-agency unit that consists of the following Sheriff’s Offices: White County, Lumpkin County, Towns County, Banks County, Habersham County, Stephens County, and Rabun County, along with the Cleveland Police Department, the Georgia National Guard Counter Drug Task Force, the Department of Public Safety, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
