In celebration of National Poison Prevention Week, Safe Kids Gainesville/Hall County and the Gainesville Police Department will host an Operation Pill Drop Saturday from 11:00-2:00 at police headquarters on Queen City Parkway.
Anyone is invited to leave unused, unwanted or expired medications for proper disposal by law enforcement officers. Illegal drugs, intravenous solutions and syringes will not be accepted. Free medication lock boxes will be given to anyone dropping off medications.
