By Track PR

SENOIA, Ga. - Defending World of Outlaws Dirt Late Model Series champion Shane Clanton beat out Clint “Cat Daddy” Smith to score the win in Saturday night’s Super Late Model feature at Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Ga.

The Zebulon, Ga. racer scored the pole in qualifying, but lost the lead to Smith on the start of the feature. The duo battled for the lead, while behind them Austin Horton and Mason Massey fought for third.

Clanton would lock himself into the lead on lap 9, and would hold Smith at bay as the laps wound down. Meanwhile, the battle between Massey and Horton continued to battle, while Eric Granger moved to work himself into contention.

In the end, it was Clanton scoring the victory, with Smith in second. Horton came home in third, followed by Granger in fourth and Massey in fifth.

Craig Scott, Tod Darda, Matt Dooley, Zach Leonhardi and Ricky Williams rounded out the top ten.

In other action, Smith was able to score a win by pulling double duty in the Limited Late Model feature. He led flag-to-flag to score the victory, with Joey Armistead second, Clifton Moran third, Montana Dudley fourth and Dusty Jones in fifth.

In the Crate Late Model feature, Dylan Knowles was flagged the winner, but his engine was protested by second place finisher Matt Black, leaving the finish unofficial at press time. Unofficially, Black finished second, with Trey Wood, Marty Lunsford and Cody Richards rounding out the top five.

Michael Page took the victory in the B Cadet feature, leading flag to flag to the win. Blant Duke came home in second, with Dustin Diem in third, Brandon Bright in fourth and Brandon Pijenburg in fifth.
