Frankie Coates raced to the front of the field in Saturday’s Hartwell Speedway Limited Late Model feature, and went on to score the victory at the Harwell, Ga. raceway.
Coates had to hold David McCoy at bay in order to score the feature win. Wesley English finished in third, with Drew Collins in fourth and Ashley Poole in fifth.
Keith Freeman, Chad Puckett, Gus Simpson, Ken Lampp and Drew Benifield rounded out the top five.
In other action, Crandall Turner scored the victory in the Hobby Stock feature. Shane Yarbrough finished in second, with Rod Roberts in third, Chase Lampp in fourth and Mart Patterson in fifth.
David Archer took the win in the Modified Street feature. Justin Sims came home in second, with Trey Ridgeway in third, Rusty Jordan in fourth and Paul Byrum in fifth.
Jeremy Jones was the winner in the Stock V8 feature, with Cal Moon, Ricky Mauldin, Ray Foskey and Evan Brown rounding out the top five.
In the Stock Four Cylinder feature, Shane Strickland held of Cy Strickland for the win. Tim Collins crossed the finish line in third, with Travis Hubbard in fourth and Kenny Phillips in fifth.
Taylor Mac was the winner in the Front Wheel Drive feature, with Grant Burton in second and Kalen Holmes in third.
Hartwell Speedway returns to action on Saturday, March 19, with racing scheduled in the Limited Late Model, SECA Late Model, Hobby, Modified Street, Stock V8, Stock Four Cylinder and Up Front divisions.
