GAINESVILLE — Tre Gober recorded a double-double Saturday to lead the Lakeview Academy boys to a 58-42 win over Athens Christian in Region 8-A action.
Gober poured in 13 points to go with 10 rebounds as the Class A Private sixth-ranked Lions (6-1, 3-0 Region 8-A) stayed unbeaten atop the region standings.
Drew Cottrell added 18 points and Evan Pitts had 10 for Lakeview Academy.
The Lions will be back in action on Friday in the Southern States Classic at Tri Cities High School in East Point taking Seffner Christian (Florida) at 4 p.m.
