WATKINSVILLE — The Lakeview Academy boys basketball team opened its Region 8-A schedule in impressive style routing Athens Academy 79-43 Friday night on the road.
Tre Gober and Drew Cottrell poured in 19 points each to pace the Lions (4-1, 1-0 Region 8-A). Josh Randolph added 14 points and Adam Cottrell had 13 points for Lakeview Academy. Carter Reeves pulled down 14 rebounds for the Lions.
Lakeview Academy will be back in action next Friday traveling to Commerce in another Region 8-A battle.
