Lula woman dies from injuries sustained in Nov. 30 Clermont wreck

A Lula woman is dead following a Nov. 30 wreck on Ga. 11/Cleveland Highway at Ga. 283 in the Clermont area.

Sandra Jo Crow, 68, was driving a Dodge Stratus on Ga. 283 and failed to yield when she attempted to cross Cleveland Highway, and was hit by an on-coming Mazda 626, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

Crow was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries Dec. 1, according to an obituary with Memorial Park Funeral Home.

The driver of the Mazda, Liberty Fongheiser, 23, of Cleveland and her passenger, Kelsi Fongheiser, 2, were injured, but did not require transport by emergency officials.

Funeral services for Crow will be held Dec. 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Chapel.

The Georgia State Patrol continues to invsetigate the wreck.
