COAL MOUNTAIN — Creekview outscored Dawson County 28-15 in the second half to rally past the Lady Tigers 42-33 Saturday afternoon in the North Forsyth Thanksgiving Tournament.
Dawson County (0-2) led 9-6 after the first qiarter and took an 18-14 lead into halftime. But the Lady Tigers could not hold it as Creekview used a 10-4 third quarter to grab the lead and held off Dawson County down the stretch.
Abi Chatham and Kaylee Sticker had six points each to lead Dawson County. Kati Brady, Chloe Bennett, and Calli Watson had five points apiece for the Lady Tigers.
Dawson County will be back in action in the North Forsyth tournament on Monday at 9:30 a.m.against Alpharetta.
