A Chicopee Village man was arrested Friday night in the murder of his sister.
Bradley Scott Holland, 35, reportedly shot and killed his sister, Stacey Allison, after an arguement, according to Hall County Sheriff's Lt. Scott Ware.
Ware said authorities arrived at the home on 3rd Street shortly after 6 p.m. Friday. "Upon arrival, deputies found Stacey Allison with a single gunshot wound to the head. Ms. Allison was taken to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead," said Ware.
Holland was arrested without incident and faces a single murder charge. Ware said the handgun believed to be the murder weapon was alos recovered on scene.
Ware said there were witnesses to the event, including the pair's mother, who made the 911 call.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation assisted the Sheriff's Office with the investigation.
