ELM CITY, N.C. - Jackie Boggs used a late race restart to his advantage, as he powered to the lead and to the victory in the Ultimate Super Late Model Series season finale at County Line Raceway in Elm City, North Carolina.

The win was worth $10,000 for the Grayson, Kentucky wheelman.

Boggs set fast time in qualifying with a lap at 14.549 seconds. Boggs then took over the lead from Chris Ferguson with seven laps remaining, and drove away to the win while a flat tire regulated Ferguson to a 12th place finish.

Kyle Hardy, Tyler Bare, Donald Bradsher, Robbie Emory and Daniel Tucker rounded out the top ten.

Meanwhile, Dennis Franklin was crowned the 2016 series champion with a 13th place finish. The title, which is the second of Franklin’s career, was worth $20,000 to the Gaffney, South Carolina racer.
