Barrow County firefighters have been battling a blaze at a pallet company in Statham since 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Capt. Scott Dakin with the Barrow County Emergency Services said about 20,000 wooden pallets as well as a number of vehicles were burning in the business, located on Broad Street.
Dakin said no one was injured in the fire.
At this point there's no word on how the blaze started.
The latest posting on social media asks residents to avoid the area for the next several hours.
