BRASELTON - An arrest has been made in connection with the fatal shooting that happened at the Circle K gas station on Highway 211 in the early hours of Saturday morning.

According to Atlanta TV station CBS46, Angela Nicole Baker has been taken into custody.

CBS46 reports that Braselton Assistant Police Chief Lou Solis said Baker was with James Harold Walls, 56, of Flowery Branch around 12:45 a.m. when they stopped to fuel their vehicle.

Solice said Baker went into the convenience store when a silver Honda Civic pulled up alongside Walls and an argument ensued.

Walls was subsequently shot by someone in the vehicle which then sped away.

When Baker saw what happened she retrieved her purse from the car and left the scene.

"We arrested her for obstruction, tampering with evidence...because she took the victim's phone, and then we got her for theft as well," Solis told CBS46.

Investigators are still trying to determine what led to the shooting and who was in the Honda Civic. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Braselton police department.
