Alleged shooting under investigation in Dawson Co.

Dawson County authorities are investigating a reported shooting that occurred near Ga. 400 Monday afternoon.
 
Although details are limited, county EMS Director Lanier Swafford says emergency workers were dispatched to the Longhorns restaurant parking lot just off the highway around 3:50 p.m. in response to a possible gunshot victim.
 
Swafford said an unnamed male patient was transported from the scene in Dawsonville to Northeast Georgia Medical Center. The extent of the man's injuries were not made clear, and his condition at the time of medical transport is currently unknown.
