North Hall used a 12-run second inning en route to a 17-0, three-inning victory over Johnson in girls softball action.
The Lady Trojan (10-3, 2-1 Region 8-AAAA) started off strong with five runs in the first inning on four triples and two Johnson errors. Niki Carver and Carson McCormack each had three hits and combined for five RBI to lead North Hall. Kailee Dyer and Kadie Sullens both had two hits.
North Hall continued the barrage in the second inning as Camilla Howell and Ashley Goines both doubled in runs, while Carver and Ashlyn Brewster hit triples to drive in runs. Brewster capped the scoring with a two-run home run.
Dyer earned the win for North Hall in her first varsity start allowing one hit and stricking out three in three innings of work.
North Hall next will play host to White County on Thursday in another Region 8-AAAA matchup.
