Rabies case confirmed in W. Hall

GAINESVILLE - Rabies has been found in a raccoon that came in contact with a dog in the West Hall area recently.
 
Hall County Animal Control says the incident happened in the Manor Ridge Drive area. The raccoon was shipped to the Georgia Public Health Lab- Virology Section in Decatur, and county officials were advised Friday that it tested positive for rabies. This is the sixth confirmed case of rabies in Hall County this year.
