CLAYTON - Authorities arrested two Smyrna men and seized drugs worth an estimated $5,900 on the street during a traffic stop in Rabun County Thursday.
According to the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office, agents and deputies with the Rabun County Sheriff's Office seized about a gram of heroin, 50 grams of methamphetamine and $5,550 cash.
Louis Alberto Ocsio-Green, 36, and Manuel Aljandro Rodriguez, 29, were arrested during what authorities referred to as an interdiction stop at the intersection of Hwy 441 and Holyfield Connecter.
Ocsio-Green was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of heroin, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of firearm by convicted felon and crossing of guard lines with weapons, intoxicants, or drugs without consent of the warden or superintendent.
Rodriguez was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of firearm by convicted felon and driving with a suspended license.

Both suspects were taken to the Rabun County Detention Center.
