WINDER - A railroad crossing in Winder was closed Wednesday afternoon after a tractor trailer collided with a a train.
According to a post on the Barrow County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, the tractor trailer drove away from the scene at the crossing on Broad Street. The area was closed off during the investigation, causing traffic delays.
The crossing was reopened around 4 p.m., according to another post on the Facebook page.
At the time of publication, the Barrow County Sheriff's Office had not returned a request for additional details.
