GAINESVILLE - Early indications by Hall County authorities were confirmed, as the cause of death of a plant worker in Murrayville earlier this month was deemed accidental.
Hall County Coroner Marion Merck confirmed Monday afternoon that Ricardo Aburto, 31, died as a result of low-voltage electrocution on July 7.
Following the initial incident, Hall County Deputy Fire Chief Chad Black said emergency crews were told Aburto was performing some type of electrical work just before he collapsed at the Fieldale Farms facility in the northern end of the county.
An ambulance took Aburto to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville where he was pronounced dead.
