HOMER - A four-year-old child was revived by family members after reportedly falling into a swimming pool in Banks County.
The Banks County Sheriff's Office Monday released a few details in the Monday afternoon incident.
According to the sheriff's office, deputies responded to the address on Canters Run northeast of Homer in reference to an unconscious person.
Deputies found family members of the child had performed CPR and revived the youngster. Authorities requested an air ambulance to fly the child to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. Banks County authorities did not know the latest condition of the victim Monday afternoon.
The sheriff's office is investigating the incident.
