GAINESVILLE - Hall County authorities are investigating after a body was located Tuesday night in north Hall.
Deputy Nicole Bailes of the Hall County Sheriff's Office said she could provide only limited details initially.
"All I can confirm tonight is that we responded to the 5000 block of Britt Whitmire [Road] in reference to a subject found deceased," Bailes said. "There are not any immediate indications of foul play and the body will be taken to the Dekalb County Medical Examiners Office for an autopsy."
Bailes said the victim's identity is being withheld pending notification of relatives.
