Several counties involved in AT rescue mission

HELEN - Emergency personnel from White, Towns and Habersham County are involved in a rescue mission to retrieve an injured hiker from the Appalachian Trail.
 
Preliminary information is that the hiker has a fractured ankle and is the area of the Tray Mountain Shelter.
 
A Georgia Department of Natural Resources helicopter has been requested.
