GHCC announces Vision 2030 Public Arts Initiative

GAINESVILLE - VISION 2030, a program of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, will launch its Public Arts Initiative with a cocktail reception on Thursday, April 23 from 5:00- 6:30 at the Arts Council Smithgall Arts Center.

Under the leadership of committee chairs LeTrell Simpson of Con-sen-sus and Frank Norton Jr. of The Norton Agency, the VISION 2030 Public Art Committee has been working on a Public Art Walking Tour and Map for more than two years - researching and cataloging current public art inventory.

The Gainesville-Hall County Public Art Tour provides the chance to view a selection of more than 30 works of art in a variety of media.

Community Public Art Partners include The Arts Council, Brenau University and the Quinlan Visual Arts Center. Corporate sponsors are The Norton Agency and VISION 2030.
