Randy Weaver takes Ultimate Series victory at VMS

JAMAICA, Va. - Randy Weaver continued his winning ways Saturday night, as he drove to the victory in the Aaron’s King Of The Commonwealth Ultimate Super Late Model Series feature at Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, Va.

The win also gave Weaver a $20,000 pay day.

With 47 cars showing up to compete, Weaver set fast time in qualifying with a lap at 16.518 seconds. He would go on to win his heat race.

On the drop of the green flag, Weaver jumped out front and led all 60 laps en route to the victory.

Blairsville, Ga.’s Jonathan Davenport finished in second, with Scott Bloomquist in third, Greg Saterlee in fourth and Chris Madden in fifth.

Toccoa, Ga.’s Casey Roberts, Steve Fancis, Mason Zeigler, Chris Ferguson and Don O’Neal rounded out the top ten.
