A house fire in Flowery Branch caused heavy damage, but did not result in injury Saturday afternoon.
Hall County Fire Marshall Scott Cagle said officials responded to the home on Oak Hill Drive after a visitor had seen smoke and flames coming from the building. Cagle said firefighters arrived and found heavy smoke coming from the attic and were able to extinguish the fire before it reached the lower floors.
Cagle said no one was in the home at the time of the incident. The flames caused over $100,000 in estimated damage. The cause of the fire is still under investiagtion
