By The Associated Press
ATLANTA (AP) Authorities say a man accused of killing his wife, three of her family members and a friend will soon be returned to Georgia to face murder charges following his arrest in Mississippi.

Troup County sheriff's Sgt. Stewart Smith said 26-year-old Thomas J. Lee waived extradition and that deputies were on their way to Mississippi on Tuesday to pick him up.

Lee was apprehended Monday at a bus station in Tupelo, Mississippi, after telling a pastor he was having car trouble and needed to get to Opelika, Alabama. The pastor called police when he realized Lee was a wanted man.

Smith also said authorities have found the car they say Lee used to flee.

All of the victims were found in the home near LaGrange, Georgia, where they and Lee lived.
