GAINESVILLE — High school football stars from throughout northeast Georgia will take their last taste of prep gridiron action on Saturday when the third FCA East-West All-Star Football Game kicks off at Riverside Military Academy's McGinnis Field in Gainesville.
The contest, which will start at 12:30 p.m., features standouts from Flowery Branch, Johnson, East Hall, Banks County, Riverside Military Academy, Jefferson and East Jackson (East Team) against fellow prep stars from West Hall, Chestatee, Gainesville, North Hall, Lakeview Academy, Jackson County and Commerce High (West Team).
Each squad contains 40 members, including some of the most outstanding talent to grace the field during the 2015 campaign.
Tickets cost $7 at the gate, with children 5-and-under admitted free.
The game will be broadcast live on WDUN 102.9 FM.
There will also be a halftime band performance, as well as cheerleading squads from the 14 respective schools.
