5 arrested in North Ga. as part of national sex sting

GAINESVILLE - The Hall County Sheriff's Office and several other local agencies assisted the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Georgia Bureau of Investigation in a sex sting, focused on human trafficking and internet crimes against children.

According to Hall County Sheriff's spokeswoman Deputy Nicole Bailes, five people in our area were arrested in the sting.

Bailes said agents posed as a 14-year-old girl online, and all five of the suspects offered sex and payment to the undercover officer. Each suspect met with the undercover officer at a predetermined location and was arrested without incident.

Aaron Clayton Boone,32, Clifford Allen Nash, 37, David Bryan Bryant, 48, Sagarkumar Chetankumar Patel, 29, and Sambo Kong, 29, were all charged with sex trafficking, child molestation and pandering.

The sting was part of Operation Cross Country IX, which is part of the FBI's Innocence Lost National Initiative.
