Hall drug agents seize over eight ounces of meth, worth over $26,000

GAINESVILLE - In a case that culminated with the arrests of three people on Monday, Hall County Multi Agency Narcotics agents seized methamphetamine worth an estimated $26,840 on the street.
 
According to MANS Lt. Scott Ware, agents received a package with meth on Friday.
 
"I can't give specific details, other than we stood in receipt of a package that contained over four ounces of meth in it, and it led us to suspect that Renee Garcia was the intended recipient," Ware said.
 
Authorities followed up on the case Monday, executing a search warrant at Garcia's residence at 221 Green Hill Circle.
 
During the search, Ware said agents seized another approximately four ounces of meth, digital scales and a small amount of marijuana.
 
Investigators arrested Garcia, 36, Phillip Michael Parrish, 36, and Cesiah Manoella Aguilar-Berumen, 40.  Ware said all three suspects had Gainesville addresses.
 
Garcia is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, criminal attempt to traffick methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute
and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
 
Parrish faces charges of possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
 
Aguilar-Berumen is charged with possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
 
Ware said no other arrests are expected in the case.
