GAINESVILLE - Northeast Georgia Medical Center has hired Louis G. Smith, Jr. as the new president for its Gainesville campus, according to a statement released Wednesday morning.<br />

Carol Burrell, president and CEO of Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) said Smith will start in the president's role on March 2, 2015.<br />
