ID's released in Franklin Co. crash that killed two teenagers

CARNESVILLE - Two students from Franklin County High School died in a one-car crash Wednesday afternoon near Carnesville.<br />
<br />
Police have identified them as Timothy Hartman, 17, and Maleke Moon, 17, both of Canon.<br />
<br />
Both were passengers in the vehicle; the driver, Samuel Parten, 18, of Canon was taken to Athens Regional Medical Center.<br />
<br />
His injuries are non-life threatening.<br />
<br />
All three were seniors at FCHS, and the wreck remains under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol.<br />
<br />
"Toxicology results on the driver will be pending and charges are pending as well," said Sgt. 1st Class Al Whitworth with the GSP Post 52 in Hartwell.<br />
<br />
The one-vehicle wreck occurred at 1:48 p.m. on Jackson Bridge Road about four miles south of Carnesville, according to the GSP.<br />
