ALPHARETTA -- North Forsyth held Alpharetta to single-digit scoring in every quarter in taking a 61-22 win Tuesday night in Region 6-AAAAAA action.<br />

The Lady Raiders (17-3, 11-2 Region 6-AAAAAA) opened with a 13-3 first quarter and then pushed their lead to 24-9 by halftime. North Forsyth blew things open in the second half.<br />

They outscored Alpharetta (4-15, 1-12) 37-13 in the second half. North Forsyth also had 13 steals as a team.<br />

Caroline Bowns paced North Forsyth with 19 points, five assists, and five steals. Morgan Grindle added 11 points, including three 3-pointers, for the Lady Raiders.<br />
