Girls basketball: Lady Falcons take road win at North Hall

GAINESVILLE -- Julianne Sutton had 17 points and nine rebounds to lead Flowery Branch to a 60-45 win over North Hall Saturday in a non-region battle at the North Hall gym.<br /> <br /> The Lady Falcons (15-3) improved their road record to 7-1 with the win. They will put that on the line Tuesday traveling to take on Lanier on Tuesday in a Region 8-AAAAA contest.<br /> <br /> Flowery Branch led most of the way. The Lady Falcons led just 14-12 after the first quarter but outscored North Hall (11-8) 37-18 in the second and third quarters to take control.<br /> <br /> Lexie Sengkhammee and Maddie Hetzel had 11 points each for Flowery Branch. The Lady Falcons were 15-of-22 from the free throw line while North Hall was just 7-of-12 on free throws for the game.<br /> <br /> North Hall is off until next Friday when it play host to North Oconee in a Region 8-AAAA battle.
