Stabbing victim recovering, reportedly 'in good spirits'

GAINESVILLE - The man who was stabbed at a Hall County mobile home park Saturday night was continuing to recover and was reportedly "in good spirits" Sunday afternoon.<br /> <br /> Sheriff's department spokesman Chad Mann said the incident happened at Marlowe Drive Mobile Home Park in Gainesville.<br /> <br /> "We had a Hispanic male stabbing victim...approximately in his mid-30's," Mann said Sunday morning. "He was transported from the scene (to) receive medical treatment, was conscious and alert, but with heavy bleeding, at the time."<br /> <br /> Mann said later in the day "the victim is stable this afternoon. He is recovering, and appears to be in good spirits, according to investigators." <br /> <br /> Mann added that detectives are still working on identifying and arresting the person responsible for the stabbing.
