LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) -- Police in metro Atlanta are investigating a shooting that left two people wounded outside an apartment complex.<br />

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports ( http://on-ajc.com/USxKR2 ) a Gwinnett County police officer was conducting a traffic stop Friday night when gunshots were fired near the Century Park Apartments. The officer found a man and woman with gunshot wounds to their legs. Police say the victims were sitting in a vehicle outside the apartments.<br />

Police did not immediately identify the wounded pair or give their conditions. Police say they are still investigating the shootings.
