Forsyth fugitive arrested in Mexico

CUMMING - A man wanted in Forsyth County on child molestation charges dating back to 2008 has been taken into custody in Mexico.<br /> <br /> According to the Forsyth County Sheriff's office, Kenneth Dustin Grant was wanted for failure to appear on charges of Aggravated Child Molestation, Aggravated Sexual Battery, Child Molestation and Sexual Exploitation of Children. Grant had been wanted on the charges in relation to an incident in 2008 when it is believe he drugged and assaulted a teenage girl and photographed the incident. A further investigation found photographs of a similar assault of the girl's older sister and photographs of young girls.<br /> <br /> Grant was indicted in 2009 and posted a $75,000 bond in January of 2010. In September of 2010, Grant failed to show up for a court hearing, and his ankle bracelet was found in Lake Lanier.<br /> <br /> A four year joint investigation by the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office and the United States Marshal Service-Southeast Regional Fugitive Taskforce led to finding Grand in Guadalajara, Mexico under a false identidy. He was apprehended and transported to Los Angeles, where he is being held until his extradition to Forsyth County.<br />
