LAGRANGE - Forecasters say a storm over the weekend produced a low-level tornado in western Georgia.
Meteorologists at the National Weather Service report that a storm Sunday generated a tornado that touched down near LaGrange.
It uprooted and snapped trees that fell onto cars and homes. The tornado also destroyed a greenhouse.
No injuries were reported.
Campaign finance reports filed by state and local officials in Georgia are often riddled with mistakes and discrepancies, with some leaving tens of thousands of dollars in campaign cash apparently unaccounted for, an Atlanta newspaper investigation shows.
