No injuries in Lanier boating accident

By Ken Stanford Reporter
SOCIAL CIRCLE - No one was injured in a boating accident on Lake Lanier Saturday.

The state Department of Natural Resources' Law Enforcement Division says it happened in the Shoal Creek area when a personal watercraft (PWC) ran into a boat.

It was the only boating mishap reported statewide by the agency on the first day of the three-day Memorial Day holiday weekend. But there were ten BUI (Boating Under the Influence) cases reported around the state.
