HCSO participating in 2 N. Hall community events

GAINESVILLE - The Hall County Sheriff's Office will participate in two community events in North Hall today.<br /> <br /> Representatives will be at the Rubber Duck Derby at the rowing venue on Clarks Bridge Road starting at 10:00, providing water safety tips and advice for those attending the fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hall County.<br /> <br /> In addtion, the sheriff's department invites the public to come out and meet the officers who will be serving the Clermont area from the new North Hall Precinct which was officially opened Friday. The department's Mobile Command Center, new patrol cars, and motorcycle units will be on display from 9:00-12:00 at the Clermont Farmer's Market.<br /> <br /> Kristi Crumpton, Clermont City Council member and co-manager of the farmer's market, says fire trucks from the Hall County Fire Department will also be on display.
